MT. KAILASH - LAKE MANSAROVAR TRIP (Kailash pilgrimage with Vashali Shah)

This is by far the shortest & the most direct approach to Mt. Kailash & is best suited for those on pilgrimage. We drive via Zhangmu following the southern route where the scenery, with its sweeping plains, sand dunes & the Himalayan range is more majestic.

01 Welcome to Nepal! Arrive Kathmandu, We will come to receive you at the Airport. Hotel in B/B basis.

02 Half day Sightseeing (Pashupati nath Tample, Bouddha Nath and Shyambhu nath Stupa) and preparation for the trek. B/B.
03 Drive to Dhulikhel.
04 Drive to Nyalam.

05 :A day for rest to facilitate altitude acclimatization. All meals and overnight stay at the same lodge.
06 Drive to Saga:(250 kms.)
We start after breakfast, enjoying the grand view of Mt.Shishapangma(8021m), Gauri shanker and other high mountains from Lalug la (5050mt.) Pass. Packed lunch will be served at sacred lake Pigutso O/N camp/lodge in Saga.. B, l, D

07 Drive to Prayang.
After breakfast we drive across the vast Tibetan plateau to Prayang (225 km). Packed lunch will be served and 0/n Camp/ guest house. B,LD
08 From Prayang to Lake Manasarovar:The auspicious day for all travelers having first glimpse of the Holy Manas and Darshan of Mt.Kailash from The Horr Chu pass .Camp for night on the shores of lake Manasarovar. B,L, D
09 The experience of being in the abode of God – a life-time achievement: Puja, Havana-worship, meditation, holy dip, Tarpan etc.. Here relax and explore around the Manasarovar B,L, D
10 Drive to Darchen.
After breakfast drive to Darchen. Lunch, dinner and night stay at lodge.B, L, D

11 Darchen-Diraphuk Gompa-Parikarma starts from here.
The Parikrama begins before 8kms to Tarboche and we trek up to Driaphuk Gompa. Packed lunch will be served on the way along with dinner and night stay at camping/Lodge. B,L,D
12 Trek to Zuthulphuk Gompa –Parikrama, the day of challenging journey that every pilgrim talks about.
We trek up to Dolma La Pass, offer very short Prayers at the Dolmala and go down towards the Gaurikunda. Lunch and dinner, as usual, will be provided at the camp, in front of medicine Buddha Mountain near by Zuthulphuk Gompa. B, L, D

13 Zuthulphuk-Darchen-Horr.
After breakfast, we trek around 8 kms. to reach the point where our jeeps will be waiting for us and drive to Darchen, Parikarama Ends or trek to Darchen. After Lunch we drive to Siralung Zangpo on theest shores of Manasarovar B,L,D
14 Drive back to Prayang.
We return through the same route. The same procedure as earlier will be followed for meals and accommodation. B,L,D
15 Drive back to Saga B, L, D
 
16 Drive back to Nylam B, L, D
 
17 Kathmandu: night stay at hotel in Khatmandu. B/B  
18 Free day we will take you for evening Culture Show and dinner.
